ところで、ナンのあの独特の形ですが、あれって（私の知る限りでは）日本限定だってご存知ですか？
実は、インドでもパキスタンでもナンは丸い形なんですよ。これ、日本に来てビックリしたことの
ひとつなんですけど、日本ではどこのレストランでも、あの形ですよね。

同じ話を去年 @yuco さんとしたことがあったのだけど、日本でもたまに丸い(もしくは半円形の)ナンのインドカレー屋がある。私の知ってるのは5年ほど前に神保町にあった店。ただし長続きせずに潰れた。やはり日本ではあの形のナンでないと受け入れられないのか。
